It’s been a busy and exciting summer here at The Berkshire Vet, with lots happening in and around the practice!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our recent Charity Dog Walk. Together, we raised an incredible £500 for Time to Talk West Berkshire. The morning was full of wagging tails, smiling faces, and was supported and caffeinated by our friends at The Rolling Coffee Bean — we’re so grateful to all who attended this event for this fantastic local cause.

We also welcomed lots of four-legged superstars for our Pet Pawtrait session as part of The Base’s Festival of Art’s and Crafts. It was a joy to see your pets showing off their best side and Dogs by Jeff capturing those special moments. We’re glad to be sponsors of this wonderful local event. There will be classes continuing to run until September 27th 2025 so please contact The Base if this is something you’re interested in.

On top of that, our puppy training classes with Jane have been in full swing. These sessions have been a brilliant way for young dogs to learn the basics, build confidence, and socialise in a safe, supportive environment. It’s been lovely to watch both puppies and owners grow in confidence each week. Thanks to everyone who has supported these events.

Jane will also be running social dog walks from the practice once a month from the practice to Greenham Common. The first one will be on Wednesday 1st October from 11am until 12.15pm.

Thank you all for being such a big part of what’s been a fantastic summer. We’ve got plenty more planned for the months ahead — so keep an eye on our socials and website for the latest updates!
